Siding, trim, doors and shutters painted to hold up to Central Arkansas sun, humidity and storms. We wash, scrape, caulk and prime before any finish paint goes on, and we leave your yard the way we found it.

On a Hillcrest or Heights house with wood lap siding and deep porches, an exterior repaint is mostly prep: scraping loose layers, sanding edges smooth, priming bare wood and re-caulking every joint so the new paint has something sound to grip. In West Little Rock and Chenal Valley, where brick and stone are common, the job usually shifts to trim, soffits, fascia, shutters and doors. Either way, we walk the house with you first and write down exactly which surfaces we're painting and how we'll prep them.
Little Rock has some of the oldest housing in our service area, with about a third of homes built before 1970. On older homes in Hillcrest, The Heights and the Quapaw Quarter, wood siding and trim carry decades of paint, so scraping, sanding and priming bare wood take real time. Newer West Little Rock homes are mostly brick or stone with painted trim, soffits and fascia, and many sit in neighborhoods with property owners' associations that approve exterior colors.
Weather sets the schedule. Depending on the product, exterior paint needs air and surface temperatures above roughly 35 to 50°F, and it has to stay above the dew point while it cures, or moisture can leave streaks and a soft film. Central Arkansas gets about 50 inches of rain a year, most of it from March to May, plus a coat of yellow pine pollen every spring. We watch the forecast, start late on dewy mornings, follow the shade on hot afternoons, and wash every surface before we paint.
You'll know the scope before we start: what we're coating, how we'll prep it and what it will cost.

All painting services in Little Rock →If your house is in the Heights, Hillcrest or the Quapaw Quarter, ask for the scraping and priming to be listed line by line in your estimate. On older wood homes that's where quotes differ most, and it's what decides how long the paint lasts.
We started Revive Paint with a simple idea: do careful work, tell people the truth and clean up after ourselves.
Washing, scraping, sanding, caulking and spot-priming are written into your estimate, so you know what's being done before paint goes on.
You'll know the schedule, the colors and the scope up front, and you'll hear from us before anything changes.
Plants, walkways, fixtures and windows are covered, and we clean up at the end of every day.
We walk the house with you, check the siding, trim and caulk, talk through colors and sheen, and put the full scope in writing.
Siding and trim are washed to remove dirt, pollen and mildew. Plants, walkways, lights and hardware are covered or masked.
Loose paint is scraped and sanded smooth, gaps are caulked, bare wood is primed, and we point out any soft or rotted wood before painting over it.
Body, trim, doors and shutters are painted in the order that keeps lines crisp, timed to the temperature and dew point.
We walk the house with you, handle touch-ups, pull the masking, and haul away our mess.
Exterior painting costs depend mostly on the size of the house, how much prep the surfaces need, and how much trim there is.
National cost guides put the average exterior repaint at about $3,178, with most projects between $600 and $7,700, or roughly $1.50 to $4 per square foot of paintable surface (Angi, 2026). Those are national figures. Your Revive Paint estimate is free, in writing, and based on your actual Little Rock home.
On older Little Rock homes, prep is the biggest price swing: scraping and priming decades of paint on wood siding takes far longer than refreshing trim on a newer brick home in West Little Rock.

Don't see your question? Call us and we'll answer it.
It depends on the product. Most exterior paints need air and surface temperatures above roughly 35 to 50°F and have to stay above the dew point while they cure. On hot days we avoid painting walls in direct sun.
Previously painted brick can be repainted after cleaning and repairs. Unpainted brick needs breathable, masonry-rated products and a frank talk first, because once brick is painted it's very hard to undo, and some historic districts don't allow it.
No. We'll need access to the outside of the house and to an outdoor water spigot and power outlet.
Yes. We'll talk through colors that suit your home's brick, stone and roof, and we recommend testing samples on the house before you decide.
In the MacArthur Park Historic District, colors on wood don't need approval, but painting masonry or stucco requires a certificate of appropriateness from the Little Rock Historic District Commission. Many West Little Rock neighborhoods, including Chenal Valley, have POA rules for exterior colors, so check your covenants before you choose.
